Our Aims
Carousel Analytics aims to provide objective insight into the NCAA College Basketball Coaching Carousel through the use of analytics. To achieve this, we have developed a comprehensive database of all NCAA Division 1 head, associate, and assistant coaches since the 2007-2008 season.
Our Approach
By combining all of our services we can help you identify quality coaching candidates, narrow those candidates down to a few primary candidates, illustrate their career performance, and compare their resumes to one another. In the end you will be more informed when deciding which basketball coaches to make offers to, and more confident that you made the correct hire.
The Data
Our data set includes a plethora of information on every NCAA Men’s Basketball Head, Associate, and Assistant Coach since the 2007-2008 season. We look at variables such as total experience, D1 experience, NCAA tournament success, Academic Progress Rate (APR), and various tempo-free stats on a season-by-season basis for each coach to see how their performance trends look.
